Mark Twain

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

  • What we do best is what we have learned most thoroughly from long practice so it becomes automatic.
  • repetition and review
  • be a stickler on focusing your energy
  • focus on less and repeat it again and again
  • constancy of purpose

Review and reflection after an lecture or seminar accelerates learning by keeping what we are trying to learn front and center. Always review your week to catch what you did right or wrong and to reinforce the positives.
