Serenity Prayer Revised

  • Do what matters most to you.
  • Create a positive emotional environment.
  • Find your rythmn.
  • Aoid time wasting by screen sucking.
  • And say your prayer

Serenity Prayer Revised

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
The insight to prioritize wisely what I want to change;
The patience to resist trying to control everything I could, had I the energy and time;
The courage and skill to change the things I have chosen to change;
And the wisdom to know the differences among all these.

-  Dr. Edward Hallowell,  adaptation of the Serenity Prayer

Adopt The Vegetarian Diet

Vegetarian Ideal

Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.

- Albert Einstein

The Vegetarian Diet Pyramid

The Oldways Preservation and Exchange Trust has come up with a vegetarian food pyramid called the Traditional Healthy Vegetarian Diet Pyramidsee graphics below:

Vegetarian Food Pyramid – Live Longer

According to different data around the world, vegetarians have the lowest rates of chronic diseases and the highest adult life expectancy. This is very good news and perhaps these facts will make you consider switching to a vegetarian diet.

Vegetarian Diet – Flavor Rich

You might wonder how you can produce delicious flavors without meat. If you use different spices, herbs, vegetable oils and cheese you might be amazed with the results. With the right combination, you can create very tasty meals. The main concern with a vegetarian diet is to get enough of all the essential nutrients that your body needs. By combining a variety of grains and vegetables, you can ensure a diet rich in nutrients with all the nine essential amino acids in adequate amounts. But before changing your diet, please consult your doctor.

Robert Sylwester

Throughout his academic career and other works, Sylwester has focused on improving educators' personal understanding of brain systems and processes, and on providing them with simple explanations and metaphors that can be utilized to increase their students' understanding. Sylwester believes that teachers understand their curriculum best when they can effectively teach it, so encouraging an effective curriculum about brain organization can enhance both the teachers' and students' understanding of our brain. Issues that confront society involve cognitive processes, so including brain organization in school curriculum is arguably worthwhile.
